Our Mission

The mission of Rangeley Health and Wellness is to facilitate and promote health and wellness in the Rangeley Lakes region.

Our Evolution

RHW began in 1993 as a grassroots initiative to bring stable, locally-based, high-quality primary health care to our community. Since the early 90’s we have successfully raised more than $14 million which has been used to construct and maintain our two facilities and support our operations, services and community programs. In 1994, we partnered with the Kennebec Valley Regional Health Agency to open and manage the Rangeley Region Health Center, now known as Rangeley Family Medicine, located at 42 Dallas Hill Road. This primary care facility is managed by HealthReach Community Health Centers. 

Once our original goal was achieved, we enhanced and expanded our vision and in 2001 constructed the Sadie K. & David W. Klau-Richard A. Brunswick Pavilion located at 25 Dallas Hill Road. The Wellness Pavilion houses our Fitness Center, Therapy Pool, ASCENT Physical Therapy, Behavioral Health, Massage Therapy, Nutrition and Orthotic services as well as our administrative offices. 

We continue to provide a multitude of wellness programs for all ages and work with our community partners to bring vital health services to our region.
